Back in April 2015 Project SWG conducted a Stress Test for our Core 3 Server Code to see if there were any stability issues. It was a fresh start for the server which only included the very basic functionalities like chat and mail, basic combat wouldn’t be seen until much later, but it was just the beginning. We invited players to gather around and test out some of the limited features we had available at the time so that we could spot any possible bugs to squash for later. It was also a time when everyone though it was cool to wear their boxers over their pants, a phase that eventually faded over time.

Greetings everyone! We have decided that from now and going forward that user login and registration be tied to social accounts. Pre-existing users created on our website can still log in using their information, but as of now we shall restrict registering on our website with the following platforms; Twitter, Word Press, Reddit, GitHub, Steam, and Discord. Registering directly on our website shall no longer be an option.

The reason why we have come to this decision is due to the recent spike in bots and failed login attempts made. We want our website to be less rampant of this activity, and have decided the best coarse of action is to remove direct site registration and allow login and register via one of the six social platforms we have allowed.

We thank you for all for your understanding on the current changes and are grateful for your continued support.
